Inch by inch, row by row….

…this garden has been growing. We appreciate the steady, good cheer and hard work from the volunteers who show up every Wednesday and do whatever needs doing. With many hands at work, we now have beans climbing, peas popping, onions bulbing and Tiara Cabbage and broccoli staying bug free under netting. Bringing those beautiful, SWEET tasting cabbages and some early peas to Helpline this morning was pretty great.

You’re also seeing Round Two of tomato starts purchased from Heidi and Megan at Hey Day Farms with a couple gifts from Renee at Full Tilth. Fingers are crossed that we’ve solved our tomato problems. We shall see.

The cucumber and squash starts are now in the ground and we’re watching carefully for those wildflower seeds to pop up.
